ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

The first school in the Hall area was the Flint Creek School.  It was established September 8, 1891, with 28 students enrolled. In 1912 a new two-story frame school house, which cost $2,743.60, was built with about 39 students and 2 teachers.

In 1934 a new brick school, which cost $13,140, was opened with 2 teachers and 38 students.  The new school house consisted of two classrooms plus an auditorium with a stage and had indoor plumbing.  It also had a partial basement with a furnace room.  One can still hear the original bell ringing the students in from play.  This school boasted 50 students. This is the current Hall School.

The Hall School is proud of its past and encouraged by the support of the community to continue providing quality education.
